Annual monitoring system certification and leak detector testing were last performed on 9-23-2013 and on 2-27-2015, and was completed on 3-22-2016. Also, the diesel leak detector was not tested until 6-10-2016, and is 9 month past due. These tests are required once every 12 months. The next routine UST inspection and monitoring system certification are due by 9-23-2016. Take all necessary precautions to ensure testing is performed in a timely manner. This is a repeat violation, Class II. 315 HSC 25291(a) Water in secondary containment not removed, analyzed, and properly disposed of (pre -Jul 2003). HSC 25291(e): Liquid was found in the diesel SPT sump. If water could enter into the secondary containment by precipitation or infiltration, it must be removed and disposed of properly. The service technician removed 3-4 cups of of liquid from the diesel sump and returned the sensor to its proper location. Ensure that all sumps and annular spaces are maintained free of liquid.
