Box 1025
West Sacramento, Ca 95691
RE: Quik Stop #121
1196 W. Louise Ave.
Manteca, Ca 95336
Installation Plan:
1. The plan lacks overburden calculations for new tank
installation.
2. The plan indicates that a single float sensor will be
used to monitor the brine annular. This site is located
in an area of high groundwater and will require the
installation of a dual float sensor.
Closure Plan:
1. Plan lacks site safety plan that addresses the removal of
the tank.
2. The plan indicates that the tank pit may be over
excavated. Over -excavation of a contaminated site is
considered to be corrective action and would require a
corrective action plan.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact
me at (209) 468-0332.
Karen Furst, M.D., M.P.H.
Health Officer
_'-"W
UL
Robert McClellon, Sr. R.E.H.S.
Environmental Health Division
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
