El <br />W ", <br />2.4.1 Termination at the storage tank <br />Termination of the secondary con- <br />tainment piping system at the storage <br />tank is accomplished using a termi- <br />nation fitting with 3/4" female NPT <br />threaded outlet (See Figure 2.4.1). <br />The 3/4" threaded outlet allows easy <br />access for pressure testing of the sec- <br />ondary containment piping system <br />and may also be used as an access for <br />a leak detection probe. <br />Fiberglass <br />•terThreaded Adapter <br />as(Bell x Male) <br />2.4.1 <br />2.4.2 Termination at the dispenser <br />Termination of the secondary con- <br />tainment piping system at the dis- <br />penser is accomplished using a ter- <br />mination fitting with or without the <br />3/4" NPT threaded outlet (See Figure <br />2.4.2). To facilitate ease of terminat- <br />ing, special bell x male adapters or <br />special sleeve couplings for second- <br />ary containment (which have been <br />machined to fit the secondary con- <br />v <br />tainment fittings) are available for <br />use with secondary containment ter- <br />mination fittings. If machined bell x <br />male adapters are not available, stan- <br />dard male threaded adapters or sleeve <br />couplings may be used (See Table <br />2.4.1).
