INCORPORATED I rPJ P. fleX, ■■ fluid systems FLEXIBLE CONNECTORS FOR UNDERGROUND GASOLINE SYSTEMS, UNDERWRITERS LABORATORY LISTED 181_3 Decades of experience in the most demanding aerospace and industrial applications, combined with technically innovative engineering were brought together to develop Teleflex Fluid Systems Flexible Underground Gasoline Connectors. Years of exceptional performance have proven the reliability of this product. In the underground environment the Teleflex Connector performs under the demanding extremes of temperature, external and internal pressure, and vibration in addition to the varying range of corrosive conditions that exist. This unparalleled record is due to our unique construction in strict conformance to UL 567. Our connectors include; a continuous, convoluted innercore of PTFE that is inert to gasoline, ethanol, methanol, MTBE and all other additives; an outer braid of stainless steel that provides strength and flexibility for ease of installation; permanently crimped stainless steel collars to insure leak -proof performance; rugged fittings in a variety of configurations to facilitate using the fewest threaded joints. Along with these features, Teleflex Connectors include a convenient lay line and printed instructions for proper installation. Additionally, each connector is in- dividually tested and serialized for 100% quality assurance. Flexible connectors are a recommended piping method versus swing joints and are called out in PEI RP100-87, API 1615 and NFPA 30. When used with the Teleflex Sacrificial Anode, a 30 year warranty against corrosion is available. For details, see page 4. Teleflex Connectors are UL listed in sizes 11/2 inch, 2 inch and 3 inch ID for use underground at product dispensers, at changes of direction in lines or at the submersible pump inside or outside of manholes. Lengths are available up to 8 feet. Fitting configurations include male pipe, male swivels and female pipes as shown, in a variety of combinations. UL listed 1 inch ID connectors are available for vapor recovery at dispens a e uration.
