1- _ <br />0 -0 <br />SITE SAFETY AND HEALTH PLAN <br />(As amended September 21, 1990) <br />This Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP) addresses the safety and health procedures that will be followed <br />during field operations for the removal and replacement of underground gasoline storage tanks at the <br />Chevron Station located at 6633 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA. Specifically, the SSHP addresses <br />activities pertaining to the construction, operation, and monitoring of (1) a soil vapor extraction and <br />treatment system and (2) a groundwater treatment system. <br />Soil Vapor Extraction System <br />Approximately two to three field staff will be involved in the construction activities. A sole contractor <br />will be responsible for the installation of the probes and the connection piping system. The vendor for <br />the incinerator will supervise the installation and provide start-up services for the incineration unit. This <br />work is scheduled to last approximately two to three days. <br />Tank Removal <br />Approximately four to ten field staff will be involved in the construction activities which are scheduled <br />to last approximately 45 days. <br />This SSHP is comprised of the following elements: <br />1.
