Lock -out / Tag -out procedures (Energy Isolation) <br />Lock -out procedures must be followed during the cleaning, servicing, or adjusting of <br />machinery or electrical equipment. LOTO procedures shall be implemented as required <br />by applicable Federal, State, or Property Owner rules and regulations. <br />100% fall protection shall be employed for all work at heights. Fall protection shall <br />include scaffolds, aerial lifts, and personnel hoists. Also guardrails, toe boards, and other <br />primary systems may be implemented. In addition, provisions for secondary fall protection <br />(full-body harness and fall arrest systems) shall be used for employees working or traveling <br />more than six (6) feet above a lower level and are exposed to an imminent fall hazard (this <br />includes working conditions hat present hazards such as leading edge, open holes, and <br />skylights on building rooftops and/or other elevated towers/structures). All fall protection <br />devices used shall be manufactured in accordance with an acceptable recognized standard <br />utilizing a design approved by a professional engineer.
