C. Tape: Polyvinyl Chloride or yethelyne pressure sensitive tape, nomina 0 mils thick, Manville' <br />"Trantex" No. V-20, "Minnesota Mining "Scotchwrap" No. 541, Picoflex No. 340-20, Permacel No. 307, or <br />equal. Tape shall be continuously marked to indicated manufacturer, number and thickness. <br />2.23 SUBMERSIBLE FUEL PUMP <br />A. Components: Centrifugal type pumping unit with screen, extractable manifold and controller with built-in <br />check valve, air eliminator, siphon nozzle, venting, siphon check valve, relief valve, leak detector, air <br />eliminator, built-in thermal overload and safety disconnect switch. <br />R- B. Motor: 3/4 horsepower continuous duty motors, UL listed and CSA listed for Class I, Group D service. <br />208/230 volt, single phase, 60 hertz, 3450 rpm. Bayonet-type electrical connections to provide safe <br />explosion proof electrical disconnect. <br />C. Pumping Unit: Installed in tank through a standard 4 inch NPT opening with extractable manifold 4 inches <br />below access box or containment sump cover. <br />2.24 FLEXIBLE CONNECTION <br />A. Construction: Flexible hose, type 316 stainless steel braided cover with lay line and teflon liner, ductile <br />iron or cadmium plated steel NPT fittings with corrosion resistant coating. Braided cover may be attached <br />by hose clamps or swaged fitting. U.L. approved for type of fuel used. <br />B. Working Pressure: 50 pounds per square inch gauge minimum. Burst Pressure: Minimum 200 pounds per <br />square inch gauge. <br />C. Minimum Bend Radius: 1-1/2 inch diameter= 4-1/2 inches; 2 inch diameter= 5-1/4 inches; 3 inch <br />diameter = 15 inches. <br />D. Acceptable Manufacturer: <br />1. Resisto Flex Company - Flexible PTFE connector #8292368. <br />2. B.F. Goodrich. <br />3. Tite-Flex Series. <br />2.25 VALVES <br />A.
