The following symptoms indicate a possible leak in an underground storage tank <br />and/or associated piping: <br />1. Fuel dispenses slowly due to activation of a line leak detector. <br />2. Suction piping systems experience dispenser meter skipping or jumping, erratic <br />fuel flow, pump operation without fuel dispensing, or pump acceleration upon <br />startup. <br />3. Tank fails an integrity test. <br />4. Continuous monitoring system alarm is activated. <br />5. Liquid is detected in the piping •. <br />6. If a leak is confirmed, the tank system shall be shut down until appropriate <br />repairs can be made. <br />The contractor(s) that will respond to a fuel spill and/or a release into secondary <br />containment are: <br />1. State Contracted Environmental Contractor <br />The certified technicians that will conduct the annual Monitoring Certification is: <br />1.
