Please be advised that the following
issues have been addressed:
The 87 slave tank ATG probe and float were replaced on December 14, 2010 and a
permit was not obtained from the EHD. The ATG's are used as the facilities overfill
prevention system. Emergency repairs relating to the UST system monitoring and
release detection may be performed by a properly licensed, trained, and certified
contractor pursuant to the EHD's policy and a permit obtained within one business
day from the EHD. All other repairs must have a permit submitted to and approved
by the EHD prior to beginning work. Immediately obtain a permit from the EHD for
the 87 slave tank ATG probe and float. A "Failure to Obtain a Permit" penalty applies.
On September 15, 2011, our maintenance vendor, Gettler-Ryan Inc, received a permit
approval for the replaced 87 slave tank ATG probe and float. A copy of the permit approval
has been attached for your review and records.
