FILE coay <br />SR0070299 <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br />the application for a permit to replace the dispensers and install conversion frames (no piping <br />will be removed or replaced below the shear valve), replace the 87 main and 91 submersible <br />turbine pumps, install a submersible turbine pump on the 87 siphon tank (to alternate with the <br />87 main turbine, with electrical wiring to run through the existing conduit), install an electronic <br />leak detector on the 87 siphon tank, replace the electronic line leak detectors on the 87 main <br />and 91 tanks, replace the UDC sump sensors with 208 sensors, and perform a cold start of the <br />monitoring panel on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. <br />The permit has been approved with the following conditions: <br />Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Stacy Rivera at (209) 468-3440 to arrange the following inspection <br />appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be <br />aware that inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit <br />approval. <br />a. Sensor functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to <br />ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 <br />California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. A copy of the alarm <br />history shall be printed prior to performing the "cold start" of the Veeder Root system <br />and made available at the time of EHD inspection. <br />b. Leak detector test: Leak detector must be tested to confirm that the device can <br />detect a leak of 3 gallons per hour at 10 psi. <br />c. Overfill prevention verification: Verify that external audio and visual alarm activates <br />when tank is 90% full. <br />d. Verification of the dispenser footprints contained by the under dispenser containment <br />sumps (UDCs) <br />
