Following the excavation and removal of the fuel from the <br />storage tank by others, NORCAP Services will evacuate, enter, clean <br />out and inspect the tank. The owner shall supply a vacuum truck or <br />approved waste containers for sludge removal and shall be responsible <br />for the proper disposal of same. Following the approval of the tank <br />for lining, we shall sandblast the entire inner surface of the tank to <br />SSPC # 5 White Blasted Surface in accordance with the enclosed <br />specifications. We will next apply a prime coat of NSS 37E Epoxy <br />resin primer at not less than 10 mils in thickness to one 10,000 <br />gallon gasoline storage tank and a prime coat of Aropol 7240 at not <br />less than 10 mils in thickness to two 10,000 gallon diesel storage <br />tanks. Prime coats to be applied within eight hours of sandblasting <br />or prior to any blush rust forming if a condition of high humidity <br />exists. Two layers of 2 oz. chopped strand fiberglass mat will be <br />hand applied and properly wetout with like resins. All entrapped air <br />will be removed using grooved rollers. Following the initial cure of <br />the laminates, we will spark test, visually inspect the entire inner <br />surfaces, sand all protrusions and repair any areas that show need of <br />same. Following the cure of the laminates, we will apply two seperate <br />coats of resin, not less than 5 mils each as a final seal coat. <br />Polyester system shall have a pariffinated surfacing agent added to <br />insure a total and complete cure of the laminate.
