Fused capillary columns are preferred to packed columns; a
packed column may be used as a "first cut" with "dirty" samples or once the hydrocarbons have been characterized and proper QA/QC is followed. For
drinking water sources, EPA recommends that the 500 series for volatile organic should be used in preference to the 600 series because the detection limits
are lower and the QA/QC is better. Samples exhibiting any level of heavy metal contamination may require further analysis. PHS-EHD recommends
holding those samples until disposal is indicated.
EH 23 046 (Revised 05/09/00)
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT
(209)468-3420
* ANALYTICAL RESULTS
* GEOTECHNICAL DATA
* ENVIRONMENTAUSITE ASSESSMENT INFORMATION
I, THE UNDERSIGNED OWNER AND/OR OPERATOR OF THE PROPERTY AND/OR FACILITY
LOCATED AT
HEREBY AUTHORIZE
(Street Address) (City)
(Laboratory)
TO RELEASE ANY AND All.
