Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95202-6232 <br /> STATEMENT OF CORRECTIVE ACTION TAKEN AND PROOF OF RETURN TO COMPLIANCE FOR CITY <br /> OF STOCKTON MUNICIPAL SERVICE CENTER—4/16/14 UST INSPECTION <br /> We hereby submit our statement of corrective action taken by the City of Stockton Municipal Service Center in <br /> relation to UST violations cited on 4/16/14 by SJC EHD. <br /> Item #104: The Certificate of Financial Responsibility signed by our Chief Financial Officer is enclosed <br /> along with the SJC EHD Certification of Financial Responsibility form. <br /> Items#201 and #204: Due to high annular alarms on 6/30/13 and 8/16/13, our fuel system repair vendor <br /> was notified and asked to correct the issue, however, these intermittent alarms ceased prior to our <br /> vendor's arrival. Vendor surmised that unusually high ambient outside temperatures caused expansion <br /> of fluid in annular space. Vendor corrected annular fluid level on 4/24/14. The UST tank owners failed to <br /> communicate these alarms to the Designated Operator. All alarms and responses to them will be shared <br /> with the Designated Operator going forward. See attached documentation. <br /> Item #303 and #310: On 4/16/14, small amounts of liquid were found in the 87 piping sump and in the <br /> under-dispenser-containment(UDC)for pumps 7& 8. The fluid was removed from both areas and <br /> disposed of accordingly by Service Station Testing on 4/18/14.
