.z� Testament of UST and Component Biodiesel Compatibility Title 23, California Code of Regulations Section 2631.2 Instructions for Form Completion — One (1) Form Per Tank System 1. Fill in the owner information. 2. Each UST will have a specific number as given by the CUPA. 3. Record the tank volume with the associated tank number. The volume should be given in gallons unless the owner operator explicitly notes otherwise. 4. The blend percentage of biodiesel must be listed. The blend of biodiesel cannot exceed 20 percent by volume. List the blend percentage in conventional language; e.g. 1320, BIO, etc. S. Complete Table with pertinent information. a. An owner operator seeking variance must submit documentation that shows that the UST and components are compatible with the biodiesel blend stored or intended to be stored. This compatibility statement must be supported by documentation from the UST manufacturer(s), a nationally -recognized biodiesel association, or a nationally -recognized research organization with applicable expertise. The owner operator must first seek a statement by the UST manufacturer(s). If the statement(s) is/are not available because the manufacturer(s) is/are no longer in business, the owner operator may then seek assistance from a nationally -recognized biodiesel association or a nationally -recognized research association. Indicate which documentation is available for each tank component by placing a check mark in the corresponding box. 6. The documentation from the UST manufacturer(s) must be attached with this form. All statements from manufacturers must be attached. 7. If a manufacturer's statement is not available then the owner operator must secure a statement of compatibility from either a nationallys-recognized biodiesel association or a nationally -recognized research organization with applicable expertise. All statements from the nationally -recognized biodiesel associations/nationally-recognized research organizations must be attached. 8. Additional room is given in the Table to include any components not listed.
