Although, this repair will likely pass water test it would be
nearly impossible to hold 5lbs pressure. Furthermore; contract who repaired used Bostic, which we already
determined is not 3'd party tested. Most importantly contractor penetrated bottom of UDC in 8 locations and did not
install a metal backing plate. There is no approved poly repair, thus we cannot make repair to holes that have been
drilled to facilitate a proper repair back to the UDC's original design.
Photo 044 (6) - The only repair we could possibly recommend is replacement of top 50% this Diversified boot with
another 3.5x2.4 split repair and test boot.
Photo 044 (7) This picture is an example of bolt hole circle with a backing plate.
We have notified both the inspector and customer we believe very low likelihood this repair will hold.
Do not hesitate calling myself or Darren (559) 805-1529 if you have any questions.
Diane Lopez
Franzen -Hill Corporation
1100 N.
