REHS <br />Copy <br />SR0063566 <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br />the application for a permit to replace the two existing dispensers with new Gilbarco Encore 300 <br />dispensers (ENC300NL1 3+1 and ENC300NN1), and replace the existing UDC with new Bravo <br />dispenser pans and reinstall the UDC Incon sensors on the underground storage tank (UST) <br />system at the above noted address. The permit has been approved with the following <br />conditions: <br />Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Jeff Wong at (209) 468-0335 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br />(a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that <br />inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br />a. Sensor functionality: Functionality of the reinstalled UDC sensors of the monitoring <br />system must be verified to ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the <br />requirements of Title 23 California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety <br />Code. <br />b. Primary piping soap test inside the UDC: One hour pneumatic pressure test at 110% <br />of operating pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater. <br />°c. 24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on UDC sump. <br />d. Secondary containment testing on 87 and 91 -octane and diesel piping run at least 48 <br />hours after concrete has been poured. Secondary containment testing on the <br />diesel/91-octane UST, and/or on the 87 -octane UST, if the excavation is close <br />enough to either or both USTs. <br />e. Primary piping soap test as described above, and secondary piping soap test for one <br />hour at pressure per manufacturer's guidelines on pipings outside of UDC sump if <br />applicable. If there are no manufacturer's guidelines for the secondary piping soap <br />test, test shall be performed using an applicable method specified in an industry <br />code or engineering standard. <br />
