Previously, a permit application to install a new vapor pod system
had been submitted to your agency and received approval.
However, given the recent changes within the Underground Storage Tank law,
the proposed system would require extensive modifications from the
Environmental Health Department's prospective. As I understand it, if major
modifications are made to the UST system new Air Pollution requirements must
be met.
Due to the conflicting and changing regulations, Mr. Gilford is requesting a
meeting with San Joaquin County Motor Vehicles Division, San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department, San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control
District, and Tait Environmental (Contractor). Additionally, Mr. Gilford
will be retiring from service on September 30 and would like to schedule the
meeting with his presence so that resolution can be assured.
Meeting: Environmental Health proposes the following times for
availability.
Tues Sep 23 at 9:30am
Wed Sep 24" at 1:30pm
Thurs Sep 25 at 10:00am or 1:30pm
Please respond with the date and time of your availability, if at all.
Thank You,
Michelle Le, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
304 E. Weber Ave
Stockton CA 95202
1
