FRP CUFF SPECIFICATION <br /> Summary <br /> The FRP Cuffs (FRP Cuff Plates & Reducer Boots) are to be installed in <br /> conjunction with the Tank Sump Riser and Reducer Assembly, the <br /> Dispenser Mounting/Containment Box, Transition Sumps and/or <br /> Vapor/Vent Transition Sumps. The FRP Cuff shall provide a vacuum or fluid <br /> tight, flexible penetration of the sump wall and be manufactured by <br /> Western Fiberglass, Inc. <br /> System Specifications <br /> 1.01 System Suitability <br /> The FRP Cuff shall: <br /> A. Provide a vacuum or fluid tight seal around any pipe or <br /> electrical conduit into a containment device. <br /> B. Allow lateral and horizontal movement of pipe and/or electrical <br /> conduit while maintaining a vacuum or fluid tight seal. <br /> C. Prevent any ground, surface or run-off water from exiting through <br /> cuff seal. <br /> D. Contain any release of environmental contaminants within the <br /> containment system through the cuff seals. <br /> 1.02 Construction Specifications: <br /> A. Be manufactured from a U.L. Listed material. <br /> B. Be constructed of materials that are not harmful to the <br /> environment. <br /> C. Be suitable for petroleum products and blends including <br /> methanol and ethyl alcohol mixtures. <br /> D. Be non-permeable to hydrocarbons and not weakened by <br /> exposure to these materials. <br /> E.
