REHS <br />Rodney Estrada, REHS <br />Willy N9, REHS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of the <br />application for a permit to excavate in the vicinity of the fuel lines and pump islands (UDC -11112, UDC -13, <br />UDC -14115, and UDC -16) on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. <br />The permit has been approved With the following conditions: <br />I Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />3. Contact Elena Manzo at (209) 953-7699 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br />(a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br />a. Secondary piping test for all product piping (diesel, 87 -octane, 91 -octane) in the <br />vicinity of UDC -11/12, UDC -13, UDC -14115, and UDC -16: One hour pressure test for <br />all piping, per manufacturer's guidelines. If there are no manufacturer's <br />guidelines, test shall be performed using an applicable method specified in an <br />industry code or engineering standard. <br />b, 24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on UDC -11/12, UDC -13, UDC -14/15, and <br />UDC -16 <br />4. If concrete was broken near tanks, a secondary containment test must be performed on <br />the affected USTs once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's <br />guidelines. <br />5. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br />supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the <br />following: <br />a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by the <br />Contractors State License Board (may be issued to the installation company), or a <br />Tank Testers license issued to the individual by the State Water Board, and <br />b. A valid, current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the <br />Intemational Code Council (ICC), and <br />c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component($) <br />being tested, repaired, or serviced. <br />
