Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Contact Garrett Backus to arrange the following inspections(a 48 hour notice is <br /> required): <br /> • Functionality test of the annular liquid sensors. <br /> • Functionality test of the line leak detector(3 gallon per hour at 10 psi leak test). <br /> • Functionality test of the Bravo float and chain,tested with liquid. <br /> 3. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br /> supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the <br /> following: <br /> a. One of several permissible valid,current contractor's licenses issued by the <br /> Contractors State License Board(may be issued to the installation company),and <br /> b. A valid, current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the <br /> International Code Council(ICC),and <br /> c. A valid,current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s)of the <br /> component(s)being tested,repaired,or serviced,and <br /> d. Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of <br /> training from the manufacturer of that component. <br /> 3. Permit expires 180 days from date of approval. Note: If an extension to the expiration <br /> date is required, a written request must be submitted to this office prior to the expiration <br /> date. <br /> 4. All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as <br /> required by the organization.
