All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow <br />of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. The sensor was cleaned and flipped by the technician while on <br />site. It was retested several times and passed. <br />This was corrected on site. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />319 <br />CCR 2635(b) No spill bucket, failed to contain five gallons, or failed to provide a means to keep it empty. <br />The 87 siphon spill container (in a monitored fill sump) failed to have a minimum capacity of five gallons. All spill <br />containers shall have a minimum capacity of five gallons. Immediately contact a properly licensed, trained, and <br />certified contractor to repair or replace the spill container, following all EHD repair conditions. A UST Repair Permit <br />Guidance document has been provided. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />320 <br />CCR 2635(b)(2) Overfill prevention system not present or failed to meet overfill requirements. <br />The light used as the external visual overfill prevention system is not currently functional on the annunciator box. <br />Immediately discontinue deposition of petroleum into this tank until the component is repaired or replaced by a <br />properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor under permit and inspection of the EHD. The light bulb was <br />replaced by the technician and verified functional at the time of inspection. <br />This was corrected on site. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The EHD has written the <br />complete report which replaces the initial checklist. <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, within 30 days of receiving the complete inspection report. <br />Please be aware that as of January 1, 2014, facility operators are required to upload the following UST program <br />documents into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS): UST Monitoring Site Plan, UST <br />Certification of Financial Responsibility, UST Response Plan, UST Letter from Chief Financial Officer (if <br />applicable), and the Owner Statement of Designated Operator Compliance. The UST Owner/Operator: Written <br />Agreement, if applicable, can be stored at the facility or uploaded into CERS. <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />
