French Camp Rd., Stockton <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br /> the application for a permit to remove the following underground storage tank (UST) system, <br /> including piping and associated appurtenances, at the above noted address: <br /> Tank# 39-0520715: 500 gallon kersosene/gasoline <br /> The permit has been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Stacy Rivera at(209) 468-3440 to arrange the following inspection <br /> appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br /> a. Removal of tanks <br /> b. Witness soil and/or water sampling <br /> c. Verification of Tank ID numbers marked on the USTs <br /> 4. If the removed backfill material and soil is found to be contaminated it must be disposed <br /> of at an approved disposal location. Treatment of soil onsite can only be performed <br /> under a hazardous waste treatment permit. A work plan and fees must be submitted to <br /> the EHD Site Mitigation Unit and the work plan must be approved before initiating any <br /> assessment or remediation activities. <br /> 5. Inert USTs with 30 pounds of dry ice per 1,000 gallon volume after triple rinsing. Be <br /> aware, additional testing/monitoring to ensure tanks remain inerted may be required by <br /> the Stockton Fire Department. <br />
