State <br /> and Local safety regulations for all personnel oil site. The Site Safety Officer is the point-of= <br /> contact person For all outside visitors. All initial and tailgate safety meetings will be conducted <br /> and doCui-nanted by the Site SafeCy Officer. <br /> Objective: This health and safety plan is designed to help employees and visitors familiarize <br /> themselves with the risks associated with this project and steps needed to reduce irjuxy. <br /> Project Description: This project consists of performing an underground storage tank.(UST) <br /> —p p j performing g b` ( ) <br /> removal project.for one 500-gallon tank that complies with All regulatory requixernents. The UST <br /> appears to contain a mixture of kerosene and gasoline based on recent sampling and testing of <br /> the contents inside the tank.The project includes wrapping the crushed 500-gallon single wall st <br /> LIST with 6 mil visqueen plastic sheeting,loading it on a flat bed truck,and transporting as a <br /> hazardous waste to ECI of Richmond, an approved TSDIi for disposal of USTs, There fire no <br /> horizontal or vertical fuel lines attached or associated with the tank. Project includes soil <br /> sampling by others according to Tri-Regional Guidelines. Due to road safety concerns,the City <br /> of Stockton's contractor, Parson/Brickerhof�needed to remove the 1 IST from the road right-of- <br /> away.Due to the tank's closer proximity to S. French Carnp Road,the tank excavation needed to <br /> be backfilled with import fill immediately after removing it oti an emergency basis.Please note <br /> that RAIZ Environmental,Inc.was not involved in that decision to remove the UST without a <br /> permit from San Joaquin County, The Project Consultant(Kleinfelder)and Parson/Brickerhoff <br /> knows the location of the tanks excavation and where the: UST is siting onsite since it's removal. <br /> Aller opening up the tank hole, RAH inay need to perforin ove.rexcavation of TPHI.►npacted soil <br /> prior to collecting any confirmation soil sample(s). Again,due to road safety concerns,the tank <br /> excavation will need to be backfilled after excavating and sampling,also prior to obtaining the. <br /> lab results of the soil satn�le(s).A.closure report will be prepared by Kleinfelder at the end of <br /> the project. <br /> Site Characteristics: The UST-is located neon'the center edge of the subject property near the <br /> road. <br />
