1 <br />/ Conclusions <br />11 <br />Based on the field observations and laboratory analytical data presented in this report, Shaw <br />concludes the following: <br />• On April 6, 2004, the 500 -gallon UST was rinsed. <br />• The UST was excavated and transported off-site for disposal on April 8, 2004. <br />• No soil staining or petroleum hydrocarbon odors were observed within the tank <br />excavation or fill material during tank removal activities. <br />• Groundwater was not encountered within the excavation. <br />• No analytes were detected in the soil samples collected from the tank excavation or <br />beneath the piping. <br />• TPH-D and xylenes were detected at a concentrations of 61 ppm and 0.030 ppm in <br />the analysis of the soil sample collected from the stockpile. No other analytes were <br />detected in sample collected from the soil stockpile. <br />• Approximately 62 tons of impacted stockpiled soils were transported to Forward <br />Landfill for disposal. <br />• A new 1,000 -gallon UST was installed in the same excavation as the former UST <br />and was subsequently backfilled with imported clean fill material. <br />• No further action is warranted for this site. <br />5.1 Reporting Requirements <br />P 9 9 ts <br />A copy of this report should be forwarded to the following regulatory agency: <br />Mr. Raymond von Flue <br />San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department <br />304 E.
