The technician on site,
John Cascio, mentioned that there was a possible drain valve issue and that it
needed to be repaired. All USTs shall be equipped with a spill container that has a
minimum capacity of five gallons and a drain valve that allows drainage of the
collected spill into the primary container or provide a means to keep the container
empty. Immediately contact a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor to
repair the spill container, under permit if necessary. An inspection by EHD will be
needed for the retest of the spill container and all EHD staff time associated will be
billed at the current rate of $152 an hour.
Status: PENDING. AT&T has recently engaged a contractor to complete this repair. It's
estimated that the repair will take 60 days to complete. We respectfully request an
extension to 4/27/18 to allow time to make a permit determination and to complete this
repair.
We would appreciate your favorable consideration of this request and word of the same to me via e-
mail at va7457 n,att.com.
`Sincerely,
1
Vicki Allen
Environmental Manager
Tel: 925 277 6728
Email: va7457(a)att.com
cc: Thuy Tran, Environmental Site Manager
Karen Marasigan, Area Manager-EH&S
