The following
deficiencies/discrepancies must be corrected prior to approval. Please noted that due the mass
deficiencies and discrepancies of this plan, this might not be the final comment.
1. Submit contractor's license, hazardous substance removal certification, and workmen's
compensation insurance and training certification.
2. Submit manufacturers' cut sheets, and approval from testing organization, for the
followings:
a. Tanks (include sumps), piping, UDC and vent container.
b. Sump Penetration (Blueline Technologies ES series).
c. Review and revise equipment list on plan and application to satisfy this
requirement.
3. Buoyancy calculation is designed for Stockton 76. Provide buoyancy calculation for this
facility.
4. Vent lines and vapor recovery lines are designed as single wall F.R.P per plan FE -1 and
2/FE-2. The vent and vapor recovery lines are considered part of the underground
storage tank system as per Health and Safety Code, Section 25290.20); therefore double
wall vent lines and vapor recovery lines are required. Submit 3 sets of revised plan to
reflect this requirement.
5. Reducer boots located inside under dispenser containments are designed to be sealed for
future testing per plan 1/FE-2. These reducer boots should be designed to be opened for
communication in order to detect any unauthorized releases from any portion of the
underground storage tank system at the earliest possible opportunity (California Code of
Regulation, Section 2630 (d)). This requirement applies on all reducer fittings inside all
the secondary containment. State on revised plan to reflect this requirement.
6. Tanks listed on plan 4/FE-1 and 24/FE-1 are dry annular tanks, which is different on the
tanks listed on legend 8 and 9. State on the revised plan to clear this conflict.
717 W. 8tb street, Stockton, CA 95148 - SR0037399 Page l of 2
