I appreciate you taking the time. I'll
work on updating the CERS account with Julie and we will consolidate the waste generated at Tracy to the
Oakdale WTP moving forward.
From: Backus, Garrett [EHD] <gbackus@sjgov.org>
Sent:Thursday, August 6, 2020 10:15 AM
To: Charles Galea
Cc:Julie Jeleti; Alaniz,John [EHD]; Saeed, Haza [EHD]
Subject: RE: Tracy Booster Pump Station HW Program.
Hi Charles,
It appears that if the Tracy Booster Pump station is generating less than 220 pounds a month of hazardous waste and it
is not staffed every day then you can use the remote consolidation statutes which I've attached a copy. Start with HSC
25110.10.
The waste is "deemed to be generated" at the consolidation site which I believe is : Nick De Groot Water Treatment
Plant, 5855 Dodds, Oakdale, CA 95361. CERS 10177201. EPA ID : CAL000299743
You'll need to go to the Oakdale CERS account 10177201 and update the business activities question that asks: "Does
your facility consolidate hazardous waste generated at a remote site?" Answer"yes" ,fill out the "Remote" section and
submit the info. Stanislaus County Environmental Health will review the CERS submittal.
The Tracy Booster Pump Station CERS account 10185201 can stay as it currently reads with "no"to the HW generator
question. No EPA ID number is needed at the Tracy Booster Pump site.
Garrett Backus, Ld.
