Hazelton Ave. <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> Lydia Baker, <br /> DLA Installation Support at San Joaquin Environmental Office,DF-FJEE has reviewed the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's RCRA Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator <br /> Compliance Review Report dated April 1,2019.The following is our comment in response to the <br /> violation noted on your report. Our statement and supporting documentation for how the waste was <br /> managed is as follows: <br /> 1. Review on #717 CFR 112.8(c)(10)Failed to promptly correct visible discharges and/or <br /> remove accumulations of oil in diked areas. A dispenser on the 12,000 gallon diesel tank <br /> was observed to have a small leak from piping or the hose.Visible discharges which result <br /> in a loss of oil from a container, including but not limited to seams,gaskets,piping, pumps, <br /> valves, rivets,and bolts,must be promptly corrected.Immediately fix leak, and manage <br /> according to the California Code of Regulations Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br /> Corrective Action: The fueling operations were shut down while the leaking fitting and <br /> hose were repaired.
