The samples will be labeled and-placed in a cooler with ice <br /> for transport to the laboratory. A chain of'!custody form will be completed <br /> and accompany the samples to the laboratory. <br /> The same sampling procedure will be used for collecting the soil samples <br /> within the pipe trenches. <br /> If ground water is encountered at the bottom: of the excavation, a sample <br /> will be collected using appropriate samplingprocedures.
