Oz: <br /> Pursuant to our telephone conversation, you requested clarification on the <br /> following issues: <br /> 1. treatment of piping, <br /> 2. completion of contractor questionnaire, <br /> 3. copy of contractor's license and worker's compensation <br /> insurance certificate, <br /> 4. fire permit number, <br /> �✓ 5. detailed description of tank purging technique, <br /> 6. soil sampling sheet, <br /> 7. detailed description of tank rinsing technique, and <br /> S. detailed description of soil sampling technique. <br /> Each of these issues are addressed individually below. <br /> 1. Treatment of Piping <br /> The piping connecting the tank to the pump and the vent piping will be <br /> disconnected from the tank and pump, triple rinsed with water and disposed <br /> of as scrap. The rinsate will be collected in 55 gallon drums and <br /> transported as hazardous waste to a facility that recycles petroleum- <br /> contaminated water. Soil samples will be collected from the soil below the <br /> pipe with one sample collected for every 20 linear feet of pipe trench. <br /> 2. Completion of Contractor's Questionnaire <br /> Attached is the completed Contractor's Questionnaire including copies of <br /> DECON's Contractor's License and Insurance Certificates. <br /> 3.
