S A N J D AR I N Environmental Health Department <br /> (L)j ;"� i y <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> Stockton Terminal 2201 W Washington St, Stockton June 23, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: The used oil drum spill containment pallet contained approximately three inches deep of oily liquid. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility spill control equipment shall be maintained as necessary to assure its proper <br /> operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the spill containment pallet into proper working order by removing the liquid in the <br /> secondary containment and placing in the proper waste container. Provide a corrective action statement to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by July 23, 2020. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152). To schedule an appointment, please call (209)468-3420. <br /> Documents provided during inspection: hazardous waste labels. <br /> Waste streams found: used oil and oily solids. Pape and Holt handle some equipment service and take used <br /> oil and filters back to their facilities for storage until disposal. <br /> Several hazardous waste containers had incomplete or inaccessible to read hazardous waste labeling. Some <br /> containers of waste absorbent were open. The facility labeled and closed the containers during the inspection. <br /> Several 15 gallon used grease containers were observed on-site.
