Time In: 1:40 pm <br /> Time Out: 2:30 om <br /> Food Program Complaint Inspection Report <br /> Name of Facility: SAHUAYO MEAT MARKET AND BAKERY Date: 06/11/2020 <br /> Address: 1020 S CENTER ST, STOCKTON 95206 <br /> Owner/Operator: BUENROSTRO JR, ROBERTO Telephone: (209)948-3596 <br /> Program Element: 1600-FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00052049 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> COMPLAINANT ALLEGES HE DROPPED SOME BREAD ON THE FLOOR FROM THE BREAD CASE. COMPLAINANT <br /> TOLD AN EMPLOYEE THAT HE DROPPED THE BREAD ON THE FLOOR. THE EMPLOYEE DID NOT DO ANYTHING <br /> SO HE SET IT ON A NEARBY RACK. COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THE BREAD WAS PUT BACK IN THE CASE. <br /> COMPLAINANT SMASHED THE BREAD SO THAT THEY COULD NOT SELL IT BECAUSE IT WAS ON THE FLOOR. <br /> COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THE EMPLOYEE BECAME ANGRY. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #31 Consumer Self-Service Food Protected <br /> OBSERVATIONS:This facility is allowing customers to self serve baked goods.The tall metal baked goods containers at <br /> self serve area lack doors,thus allowing possible contamination to food. Per county order that was released April 14, 2020 <br /> the practice of customer self serving is no longer allowed due to COVID-19.All baked goods shall be either served by an <br /> employee, each product shall be pre-wrapped, or each customer shall be provided with a set of tongs and plastic tray that is <br /> washed-rinsed-sanitized-air dried between customers. Install doors to all of the metal food cabinets that are located at <br /> customer area and keep doors closed. Place a sign on plastic and metal doors instructing customers to request assistance. <br /> Start new COVID-19 requirements, immediately. <br /> NOTE: Manager stated that it is impossible to self wrap food or to wash-rinse-sanitize utensils between customers. She <br /> stated that an employee will pick the baked goods for the customers. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Unpackaged food shall be displayed and dispensed in a manner that protects the food from contamination. <br /> (114063, 114065) <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Spoke to store employees who were aware of this complaint.They stated that customer dropped tray with baked goods and <br /> then proceeded in placing the dirty tray with baked goods on metal cart were clean plastic trays and tongs are located.When <br /> employee saw him doing that she got upset because he should have asked for help(employees dump contaminated <br /> products). <br /> Observations: Currently customers are self serving baked goods. Per new county ordinance this is not allowed due to <br /> COVID-19. See Appendix A under social distancing protocol.
