Mercaptan odorant was released onto the soil. No waterways or storm drains were impacted. Spill <br /> stayed on the property. PSC is en route to conduct clean-up of the spill material. Waste generated will remain on site until <br /> profiling is complete. <br /> PG&E to notify SJC EHD when clean-up is complete for verification. PG&E to provided SJC EHD with final disposal records <br /> for the waste generated and any analytical or waste profile. <br /> VIOLATIONS: <br /> • Discharge of any waste, including sewage <br /> (CA Health and Safety Code 5411) <br /> ° Discharge of waste or sewage to water or within 150 ft. of waterway <br /> (SJC Ordinance Code Sections 9-1125.3, 9-1125.4) <br /> • Improper disposal of a hazardous waste <br /> (CA Health and Safety Code 25189.5) <br /> • Permitting or Maintaining a Nuisance <br /> (SJC Ordinance Code Section 8-5100) <br /> ° Other Violation <br /> ORRECTIVE ACTIONS/ORDER: <br /> • Investigate and abate contamination under the oversite of the appropriate lead agency. <br /> Immediately. <br /> • Submit copies of hazardous waste manifests/disposal records to the EHD. <br /> Within 30 days. <br /> El Other Correction <br /> EHD 25-01 Rev.08/17/17 Page 1 of 2 WASTE DISCHARGE/SPILL RESPONSE NOTICE TO ABATE <br /> 1868 E.
