RECEIVED BY SJCEHD (EF) on 7/26/19 <br /> Lockeford Springs Golf Course- <br /> 1. Violation 102—Submit a written statement and supporting documentation explaining how <br /> the paint waste and the open 5 gallon bucket of unknown liquid (observed during the 2015 <br /> inspection)were managed. <br /> Most cans were empty or close to empty and were consolidated into larger cans and <br /> disposed of. Please see receipt previously sent. <br /> 2. Violation 103--Submit a statement confirming that the owner will ensure that a hazardous <br /> waste determination for metal fines must be made when and if the facility begins to <br /> generate metal fines, and that the facility must be able to provide a lab analytical if the <br /> metal fines are determined to be not hazardous. <br /> A- We are not currently producing nay fine metals. If they are ever produced again <br /> they will be collected and handled according to Hazardous materials procedures, <br /> defined by their office. <br /> 3. Violation 117—Submit a statement documenting that the owner will ensure that a written <br /> response documenting corrective actions taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of <br /> receiving an inspection report. <br /> A- The owner will ensure that a written response documenting corrective actions <br /> taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> 4. Lastly, although the facility is closed, is hazardous waste still being generated from any <br /> other operations that may be occurring on site,for example the maintenance of equipment <br /> that may be used to mow the grass on the course,or anything else? <br /> A- Please see attached papers. <br />
