A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, <br /> store,dispose of,transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without a hazardous waste ID number. Go <br /> to the DTSC web site http://www.dtsc.ca.gov/IDManifest/PERMHWID.cfm for the form to reactivate the ID number <br /> . Immediately reactivate your state ID number and submit evidence to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for April 2016 to December 2018 were not found on site. Hazardous <br /> waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a <br /> consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately <br /> locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the <br /> EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> -Oil/oily sludge was observed on the top of one 55 gallon used oil drum, one 55 gallon used antifreeze drum and one <br /> empty 55 gallon drum. <br /> -Metal fines from the brake lathe machine were observed on the machine and the ground surrounding it. <br /> Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion,or release of hazardous <br /> waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean up the <br /> oil and metal fines and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and <br /> supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> The secondary containment for the three 55 gallon drums of used oil had approximately an inch of oil in it. All facility <br /> communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination <br /> equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of <br /> emergency.
