Specif-
ically, the purpose of the site investigation is to:
• Assess the impact of leaks and spills related to handling of
fertilizers, pesticides, and waste oils.
• Assess whether shallow soil underlying the facility contains
fertilizer, pesticide, or waste oil constituents which may be
considered hazardous.
• Assess whether chemicals in the soil underlying the facility are
likely to impact groundwater.
• Assess whether water obtained from the onsite water supply well
has been impacted by facility operations.
1.2 SCOPE OF SERVICES
To complete this project, WCC' s strategy is to collect and analyze soil
samples for the presence of pesticide, fertilizer, or waste oil
1-1
