No significant community or local government agency
concerns/issues regarding the property or the property environmental activities are
anticipated. It is noted, however, that an adjacent property is subject to sensitive land
use; a private school (Sierran Christian Elementary School) is situated immediately
westerly of the subject site.
RECOMMENDED PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Based on the nature of the project, it does not appear that additional community
assessment or public participation is necessary during the planned additional site
characterization/sampling activities. It may be warranted to inform/involve adjacent and
nearby property owners prior to and/or during remedial activities at the site. Decisions
regarding the need for public participation will be made by the DTSC's project manager
and public participation staff.
