Underground <br /> Service Alert (USA) at 1-800-642-2503 provides a partial location service free of charge <br /> for major utility lints. It is important that San Joaquin County Department of Public <br /> Works understands that subsurface buried under private property will not be marked by <br /> the public utility companies contacted by USA. The drilling company will make contact <br /> with USA for a site visit. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Kleinfclder will coordinate the fieldwork with our proposed geotechnical assessment. The <br /> laboratory analysis will require 10 working days unless expedited laboratory turnaround is <br /> requested by the client at an additional charge. Our report will be completed within ten working <br /> days of our receipt of the analytical data. <br /> AUTHORIZATION <br /> Attached to this proposal is our firm's standard "Professional Services Agreement." Please note <br /> that its terms and conditions arc an integral pan of this proposal, Receipt of our agreement <br /> signed by the client will serve as our firm's formal authorization to proceed on this project. If <br /> there is a need for any change in the scope of services or schedule described in the proposal or in <br /> the Professional Services Agreement, please call «s immediately. Changes may require revision <br /> of the proposed fee, which will be communicated to you upon assessment of the requested <br /> changes'effect on the fee. <br /> All terms and conditions indicated in this proposal and in our agreement will be considered by <br /> both parties to be in effect from the effective elate of the executed agreement through completion <br /> of the project. The Proposal will remain in effect for 30 days from the date shown on the <br /> proposal and therefore shall be null and void unless our agreement has been signed for the work <br /> performed. <br /> LIMITATIONS <br /> Kleinfelder prepared this Proposal in accordance with generally accepted standards of care, <br /> which exist in Stanislaus County at this time. It should be recognized That definition and <br /> evaluation of geologic and environmental conditions are a difficult and inexact science. <br /> Judgments leading To conclusions and recommendations are generally made with incomplete <br /> knowledge of the subsurface conditions present. More extensive studies, including subsurface <br /> investigations, may be performed to reduce uncertainties. If San Joaquin County Public Works <br /> Department wishes to reduce the uncertainties beyond the level associated with this proposal <br /> Kleinfelder can be notified for additional consultation.
