S A N J D AR I N Environmental Health Department <br /> u j ;"� 1 y AMENDED <br /> 12/23/2019 <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> JOES AUTO REPAIR 1 1919 S STOCKTON ST, LODI December 04, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 104 CCR 66262.34(d)(2)No modified contingency plan. <br /> OBSERVATION: A complete modified contingency plan was not posted at the facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in <br /> areas directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency <br /> telephone number of the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the <br /> telephone number of the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection. James Pachoud posted a modified <br /> contingency plan with emergency coordinator on the office wall. No further action is required to correct this violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 115 CCR 66266.81(a)(4)(B)Failed to retain copy of manifest or bill of lading for spent lead acid batteries for 3 years. <br /> OBSERVATION: Bills of lading for the recycling of lead acid batteries from December 4, 2016-December 4, 2019 <br /> were not found on site. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> (A)The generator shall use either the manifest or a bill of lading which fulfills the requirements of Title 13 CCR <br /> section 1161,to record the shipment of spent lead-acid storage batteries to a person who stores the batteries or <br /> who uses, reuses, recycles or reclaims the batteries or their components. <br /> (B)The generator shall retain, at the generator's place of business for at least three years, a legible copy of each <br /> manifest or bill of lading which identifies spent lead-acid storage batteries shipped to a person who stores the <br /> batteries or who uses, reuses, recycles or reclaims the batteries or their components. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide copies of battery core bill of lading records and a corrective action statement to <br /> the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> FA0013495 PR0517532 SCO01 12/04/2019 <br /> EHD 22-01 Rev.9/20/2019 Page 4 of 9 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br /> 1868 E.
