No further action is required to <br /> correct this violation. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 105 CCR 66262.34(d)(2)No emergency coordinator. <br /> OBSERVATION: A complete modified contingency plan with an assigned emergency coordinator was not posted at <br /> the facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The emergency coordinator or his designee must respond to any emergencies that <br /> arise. The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas directly involved in <br /> the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of the <br /> emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of the <br /> fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The emergency coordinator was added to the contingency plan during the inspection. No <br /> further action is required to correct this violation. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 106 CCR 66262.34(d)(2)Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated(not necessarily documented)that <br /> employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained. Hector Reynoso, Owner, stated that neither him nor <br /> his employees had been given hazardous waste training. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures,relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately obtain training and train your employees.
