We collected a sample of this waste; it was not <br /> determined to be hazardous in the Fish Bioassay or for semi- View of several totes containing Ferric Chloride. The totes are <br /> volatiles. heavily stained on the outside from Ferric Chloride spills. Facility <br /> staff explained that cleaning the exterior of the totes with liquid <br /> generates more hazardous waste; instead, employees use <br /> absorbent pads to wipe down the totes after spills. It rained the day <br /> of inspection, and the Ferric Chloride spills leached from the totes <br /> to accumulate with rainwater in the bermed area to the east of <br /> these totes (see next photo). <br />
