INTRODUCTION
At the request of Mr. and Ms. Erlinda and Vicente Hernandez, Advanced
GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this No Further Action Required (NFAR)
Report summarizing all field activities conducted at 3012 East Waterloo Road, Stockton,
California (site). Based on the results of subsurface investigations and soil and
groundwater remediation of the underground storage tank (UST) area at the site, it is
AGE's opinion that no further investigative or corrective action should be required for the
site. The site setting is illustrated in Figure 1; the former underground storage tank area,
site buildings, soil boring locations, and existing monitoring well locations are depicted in
Figure 2. Historical soil and groundwater analytical data is summarized in Tables 1
through 3.
This NFAR has been prepared in accordance with the California Regional Water Quality
Control Board (RWQCB) - Central Valley Region guidelines (Tri-Regional Board Staff
Recommendations For Preliminary Investigations and Evaluation of Underground Tank
Sites) for No Further Action Requests (Appendix A).
2.0. Historical site usage research performed
by AGE has indicated that the property was utilized as a gasoline service station for
approximately 40 years.
A UST Unauthorized Release (Leak)/Contamination Site Report (UAR)was filed by San
Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) on 08 March 1999 . The
responsible party listed on the 1999 UAR is Erlinda Hernandez. A copy of the UAR report
is included in Appendix B.
2.1. REGIONAL GEOLOGIC/HYDROGEOLOGIC SETTING
According to a Geologic Map of California, published in 1966 by the California Department
of Conservation Division of Mines and Geology, the site area is within the Great Valley
Geomorphic Province(GVGP)of California,a large,elongate,northwest trending structural
trough. The GVGP is subdivided into two major divisions designated the Sacramento and
San Joaquin Valleys, which have been filled to the present elevation with thick sequences
of sediment ranging in age from Jurassic to present day, creating a nearly flat lying alluvial
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
v
