Provide a corrective action statement to the EHD within 30 days . <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 502 CCR 66265 . 192 (a) Failed to comply with new hazardous waste tank system assessment requirements . <br /> Facility does not have Title 22 California Code of Regulation hazardous waste tank assessment documents for the <br /> used oil and antifreeze coolant tanks . <br /> The owner or operator of hazardous waste tanks shall obtain a written assessment reviewed and certified by an <br /> independent, qualified , professional engineer, registered in California attesting that the system has sufficient <br /> structural integrity, is acceptable for the transferring , storing , and treating of hazardous waste , and that the tanks <br /> and containment system are suitably designed . <br /> Immediately have an assessment prepared for the used oil and antifreeze coolant tanks . Submit a schedule showing <br /> when this will be accomplished to the EHD within 30 days . Submit a copy of the completed hazardous waste tank <br /> assessments to the EHD when available . <br /> This is a Class I violation. <br /> 507 CCR 66265 . 195 Failed to conduct daily inspections of hazardous waste tank system and maintain records onsite . <br /> Inspections of the used oil and antifreeze coolant hazardous waste tank systems were not documented daily . <br /> The following items are required to be inspected at least daily : <br /> 1 . overfill/spill control equipment; <br /> 2 . aboveground portions of the tank system to detect corrosion or releases of water; <br /> 3 . data gathered from monitoring and leak-detection equipment; <br /> 4 . outside areas of the tank system including secondary containment to detect erosion or signs of releases of <br /> hazardous waste ; <br /> 5 . for uncovered tanks , the level of waste in the tank . <br /> Immediately begin required inspections of the hazardous waste tank system , and document the items inspected . <br /> Submit a copy of the inspection log for the next 30 days to the EHD . <br /> This is a Class II violation .
