1 <br /> Quarterly Report - First and Second Quarters 2006 <br /> ARROYO SMOG SHOP <br /> 3012 East Waterloo Road, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Ms Erlinda Hernandez,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared <br /> this report for 3012 East Waterloo Road, Stockton, California The site and surrounding area are <br /> illustrated on Figure 1, structure, boring, and well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Site <br /> background information is summarized in Appendix A Analytical data for soil analysis and ground <br />' water can be found in Tables 2 and 3, respectively <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' The first-and second-quarter ground water monitoring events were performed on 03 February 2006 <br /> and 12 June 2006, respectively Field work was performed to comply with a San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department directive, dated 17 May 2006, to continue routine quarterly <br />' ground water monitoring, the letter is included in Appendix B The field activities were conducted <br /> in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br />. During the first quarter ground water monitoring event,monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-3 were <br /> monitored for depth to water measurements only,during the second quarter ground water monitoring <br /> event, monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-2 were monitored and sampled <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 03 February 2006 and 12 June 2006, the depth to ground water in each monitoring well was <br /> measured from the top of the well casing to the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a Solinst water level <br /> meter For both quarterly events,ground water elevation in each well was calculated by subtracting <br /> the measured depth to ground water from the surveyed casing elevation (Table 1) <br /> IAfter water levels eels were measured on 12 June 2006, between 13 and 13 5 gallons of water (a <br /> minimum of 3 casing-water volumes per well) were purged from monitoring wells MW-1 through <br /> MW-3 in preparation for ground water sampling The wells were purged using a Waterra inertia <br /> pump with dedicated tubing Ground water temperature, pH, and conductivity were measured at <br /> I regular intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Field sheets and data are included <br /> in Appendix C Purged water was stored ori-site in properly labeled, 55-gallon, Department of <br /> Transportation (DOT)-approved drums <br /> I <br /> Advanced GcoEnvit onmentai,Inc <br />
