To:John Rehs (San Joaquin County) <br /> From: Brian Nusser(Atlantic Aviation) <br /> Regarding: Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Completed items- <br /> Item#102-The waste found in the secondary containment at the fuel farm was determined to be a <br /> mixture of Jet fuel and rainwater.The waste was absorbed with Pig Mats and "Kitty litter" and disposed <br /> of in one of our solid waste drums. (please see attached photos of the secondary containment in its <br /> current state). <br /> Item#601-A total of 15 assorted drums were missing accumulation start dates. For 11 out of 15 drums <br /> we were able to determine the accumulation start dates, and they fell under 180 days. The <br /> accumulation start dates of 4 of our drums could either not be properly Identified or were past 180 <br /> days.A pickup of these 4 drums has been scheduled. (We are hopeful they will be picked up this week). <br /> Item#605-A total of 15 assorted drums were found to have incorrect labeling, non-complete labeling or <br /> missing labeling.As noted in the Summary of violations this item was corrected on site. <br /> Item 110, 111-Currently still in progress. Geoffry was in contact with ramos environmental attempting <br /> to track down the missing manifests as well as the manifests missing the signed off copy from the <br /> destination facility. Since his departure,we have had to re-start this process. <br /> Item 112-2 Manifest were found without land disposal forms signed by the generator.You had <br /> mandated that the forms are completed for all future shipments.The team responsible for hazardous <br /> waste compliance has been trained on proper manifest procedures and the importance of further <br /> compliance has been stressed. <br />
