#501 The used oil tank label was corrected to show the accumulation date after
the most recent Safety-Kleen pickup. The used antifreeze tank is now labeled
with a hazardous waste label with the accumulation date.
#502 Tank Inspection/Assessment has been difficult to attain. Clean Harbors
came out, but they didn't send the right person. Clean Harbors said they would
sub the work out and we are working with them to get this completed.
#507 Our staff has been conducting weekly tank inspections and beginning April
1St we began conducting daily tank inspections with the log kept at the tank
enclosure.
#601 the drum in violation needs to be removed. We asked Safety Kleen about
picking it up. They told us they would bring a barrel for used oil absorbent pads
and to transfer the contents into the new barrel for removal. Safety Kleen has not
delivered the barrel as of 4/29 and we are following up with them.
#605 All hazardous waste containers listed in item 605 have been properly
labeled with the required information.
#608 Modified our customer checklist receipts to contain the required
information for a Bill of Lading. Covered the new procedure with all the
employees who are responsible for hazardous waste handling as listed in item
118. Added a file box to hold the bill of lading for 3 years and readily available for
inspection.
