The proposed development project includes:
1. A future three-bedroom second unit dwelling and an existing three-bedroom home with a total
wastewater flow of 400 gallons per day (gpd) from the following usage:
Wastewater flow of 200 gpd from the proposed two-bedroom second unit dwelling.
Wastewater flow of 200 gpd from the existing three bedroom home.
2. The wastewater flow of 400 gpd is not to be used for septic system design or size calculation.
Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings:
1. The SSNL Study supports the suitability for standard OWTS usage for the proposed development
project on the above mentioned parcel, pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Title 9,
Section 9-1105.2(d), provided proposed OWTS and 100% replacement area can meet all required
minimum setbacks from any water wells.
2. The septic tank, leach lines and seepage pits for the new OWST shall be installed a minimum of 100
feet away from the stream to the north of the property (SJC OWTS Standards sec. 1.5).
If you have any questions please contact Aaron Gooderham, Environmental Health Specialist, EHS, at
agooderham@sjgov.org or (209) 468-3442.
Micha I Kith, REHS
Program Coordinator
CC: Live Oak Geo Environmental, Inc.
1868 E.
