The purpose of the work plan is to evaluate the presence or
absence of petroleum hydrocarbons in the subsurface soils in the vicinity of the
reboiler unit and associated sump, and the above-ground production fluids tank.
Field activities will involve approximately 15 soil borings on the site. The activity is
scheduled for the last week in October and your prompt review of the work plan is
appreciated.
With this letter I would like to confirm that San Joaquin County Public Health
Services, Environmental Health Division will be providing oversight on this site
until we are notified otherwise.
Should you have any questions regarding this work plan please contact Darrell
Klingman at (510)866-5883 or myself at (510)746-4242.
Sincerely,
Ernie Lee
Gas Engineer
EFL:sj
cc: Antonia Vorster
Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board
3443 Rouiter Road
Sacramento, CA 95827-3098
Attachment
