The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for JAAS AUTO SERVICE as of July02 , 2020 . <br /> Open violations from November 30, 2018 inspection <br /> Violation #122 - Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> An inspection was last done on 8/2/2016 and an inspection report was issued identifying information to be submitted <br /> to bring this site into compliance . This information was required to be submitted by 9/ 1 /2016 . This information has <br /> not been received resulting in a non -compliant status for this facility. An operator that receives an inspection report <br /> shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement documenting corrective actions taken or <br /> proposing corrective actions which will be taken . Ensure that a written response documenting corrective actions <br /> taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by ( date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #207 - Failure to properly manage reusable soiled textile materials . <br /> Receipts for the soiled rags for the last three years were not available for review during the inspection . The receipts <br /> for laundered rags are required to be kept for three years . Please provide some copies of the 2018 records to the <br /> EHD for review. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by ( date) . <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #301 - Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste . <br /> According to Sopheak San , the metal shavings are added to the absorbent drum . Metal shavings were observed <br /> pooling on the floor and on the equipment. Sopheak San said that his waste needed to be picked up and that all of <br /> his containers were getting full . Several 5 gallon buckets filled with paper oil filters (overfilled ) were observed in the <br /> used oil tank area . Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire , explosion , or <br /> release of hazardous waste to air, soil , or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment <br /> Immediately clean the metal shavings area , and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations . In <br /> addition , properly secure the paper oil filters to prevent a release .
