The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for JAAS AUTO SERVICE as of July02 , 2020 . <br /> Open violations from November 30, 2018 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by ( date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #608 = Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters . <br /> Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site . A copy of each bill of <br /> lading must be kept on site for at least three years . Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil filters <br /> for the last three years , maintain them on site , and submit copies to the EHD . <br /> In the used oil storage area : <br /> -One black 55 gallon metal drum containing metal filters (full ) was observed without an accumulation start date. <br /> -Six 5 gallon plastic buckets containing metal filters ( all full ) were observed without a label . The containers were <br /> open without a lid . <br /> -Two 3 gallon plastic buckets containing metal filters ( all full ) were observed without a label . The containers were <br /> open without a lid . <br /> -One black 5 gallon drain pan containing metal filters (full ) was observed without a label . The container was open <br /> without a lid . <br /> Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil , stored in a closed , rainproof container, labeled as " drained used <br /> oil filters , " and marked with an accumulation start date . Immediately properly containerize and label all drained used <br /> oil filters . Ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> All off the drained metal oil filter containers listed above did not have an accumulation start date . The latest record <br /> on site for the disposal of the oil filters was 8/9/2017 . Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per <br /> year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that generate one ton or more of used oil filters may store the <br /> filters for up to 180 days .
